Lana Learn classes focus on maximizing student engagement with the PPP model of instruction: Presentation, Practice, Production. We believe that interactive learning, particularly when online, advances student results. The instruction method includes:
Presentation: Instructors present a new concept in a context that students that are familiar with in their professional or daily lives.
Practice: Students are given an activity that provides opportunities to practice the new concept while receiving limited and appropriate assistance from the instructor.
Production: Students will use the new concept in context, in an activity set up by the isntructor who will be offering minimal assistance.
Lana Learn class lengths vary by age appropriate development levels.
Class Length:
1 hour - professional adult group classes
45 minutes - adult individual session; young learner group class
30 minutes - young learners individual session
